Well, what a surprise Florida has been.  We arrived here safely on Saturday after a flight that involved meeting a family from Bermuda who consumed a whole extra large size family pizza and then one of the children proceeded to throw it up again.  The grandfather (almost 80) and a rather large man was told to "suck it in" by his daughter when the seat belt wouldn't fit!

We arrived in Orlando and caught the shuttle bus we had prebooked to our hotel – the Best Western Hotel which was in Disney World but not a Disney resort.  This proved to be a great decision as we were close to everything, had transport provided yet didn't have to pay exhorbitant prices.  The main reason for visiting Orlando was to see the Cirque du Soleil show, La Nouba.  We had excellent seats and this show was most enjoyable.  Whilst being a more traditional Cirque show it was very entertaining and included some unique acts including BMX bikes and table and chair balancing!  This was definitely a highlight.

Since we had 4 days left in Florida, we then discovered that we could visit the theme parks.  We hadn't really thought about this but we bought our 3 day pass which would give us access to the four theme parks all day!

Epcot (Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow) was our first stop!  The crowds weren't huge so we were able to see everything we wanted.  We went on Test Track twice which was a ride that simulated the test drive process of a car.  Gaining confidence we then went on Mission Space!  This involved going into a capsule and being the astronauts on a mission to Mars.  With the capsule spinning to simulate g-force and bumps, the pre flight warning of where the sick bags were was almost very handy information.  Thankfully we exited very green but having kept our morning tea down!
